Toussaint Louverture International Airport Master plan
During the January 2010 earthquake, Toussaint Louverture International Airport infrastructures were badly dammaged or destroyed. Especially, the control tower integrated to the passenger terminal was not operational anymore due to dammages in the structure itself. It was crucial and a priority to give the capital city airport new insfrastructures that would ensure air traffic security as a replacement for the temporary solutions that were put in place after the earthquake.
Haïti Government and the OFNAC, through the Inter-American Development Bank, gave ADP Ingénierie the mission to update the Master Plan of the airport and to carry out the design studies of a new control tower and its technical block including CNS/ATM equipments.
After updating the master plan and picking the site, ADP Ingénierie developed the design studies for the new control tower (including ACC) so the tender for the construction of the buildings and the supply of the CNS/ATM equipments could be done. A particular attention was used on the earthquake-safe structure needed. ADP Ingénierie realized all the architectural and technical studies for the building, but also the CNS/ATM equipements requirements, so the OFNAC could launch the tender on the contruction of the building and the supply of the equipments.
