Almaty International Airport
Extension of the passenger terminal at Almaty International Airport
Added value
ADP Ingénierie is working in collaboration with Groupe ADP, TAV Airports and TAV Construction for this contract. Groupe ADP made an announcement shortly before the signature by TAV Airports for the acquisition of the airport. Construction is planned to start for summer 2020.
Context
Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan and Almaty International Airport is the main hub of Central Asia with 5.6 million passengers in 2018.
With this project, ADP Ingénierie is officially returning to Kazakhstan and shows its willingness to return to the Central Asian market.
The scope of this design contract covers concept and preliminary design as well as generic specifications for a period of 5 months.
ADP Ingénierie is designing an independent international terminal with a capacity of 6 million passengers and a size of 50,000 m² with 5 contact parking stations (3 C code and 2 MARS stations).
Our solution
In addition, a viaduct on the city side will connect the new terminal to the existing one.
Our experts are developing a new baggage sorting system with the latest security innovations.
In addition, in line with the latest airport trends and ADP Ingénierie's know-how, a central through-duty free area is being created.
We wish our teams the best in the management of this project.
