Design of the second runway of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport of Nairobi
ADP Ingénierie (ADPI) presented a design integrating the new runway and all its equipment, including a fire station.
To support the increase in its traffic and the operations of its flagship airline Kenya Airways, Kenya Airports Authority has decided to construct a second runway. This runway will eventually allow the airport to operate 24/7. The client felt it was necessary to add a second runway to ensure sustainable air traffic operations.
ADP Ingénierie was awarded the final detailed design of the new runway and equipment, in close collaboration with the Client's technical teams (Kenya Airports Authority).
