AIRSPACE DESIGN SERVICES MANAGEMENT
The aim of the Qatar Airspace Design and Implementation Project (QADI) is to organize and carry out all the necessary activities for the safe and efficient provision of Air Traffic Services within the Doha Terminal Area (TMA) and associated airspace. All these new facilities require a complete restructuration of the Qatar airspace, the design of new arrival and departure procedures, the preparation and conduct of all relevant training and validation and the development of documentation aiming to provide a framework for air and ground operations on all of these airports and their associated airspace.
All projects linked to New Doha International Airport construction require a complete restructuration of the Qatar airspace. The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) has mandated ADP Ingénierie to conduct a study for the creation of the Qatar Flight Information Region / Upper Information Region, to better organize and manage their airspace in preparation of the future increased traffic demand.
ADP Ingénierie provides the overall Project Management Services, to prepare and issue the Request for Proposals (RFP), select the Airspace Designer and manage its activities throughout the implementation. The project originally deemed to be completed in 18 months has been extended by 9 months to end in February 2013 in order to align with the other projects in charge of the overall transition programs to transfer DIA operations to NDIA and Al Khor.
