Merchant Aviation, the US company member of Groupe ADP, has been awarded the contract to perform the Supplement to the Airport Master Plan for Westchester County Airport.

The supplement to the Master Plan objective is first to develop and evaluate alternatives to improve operational safety and efficiency of the airport, including facility modifications and modernizations as necessary. An important focus of the supplemental master will also be to evaluate the airport as a unique resource and economic generator for the county and region, evaluate and develop alternatives to continue to improve environmental performance at the airport and implementing a robust public engagement program, throughout the planning process.

ADP Ingénierie (ADPI) and Groupe ADP will provide support regarding storm water, deicing and additional expertise in master planning.

Westchester County Airport (HPN) is operated on a 697-acre tract of land located 25 miles North of Manhattan in the State of New-York and next to Connecticut. It is one of the most active business aviation facilities in the United States and provides commercial and general aviation (GA) service for the greater New York metropolitan area, with 150,000 operations and 1.5 commercial MPAX in 2018.

After the signing of contracts for the benefit of JFK, LaGuardia and Denver international airports, this new mission for Westchester reinforces the commitment of Groupe ADP in the USA, to mega airports as well as regional airports.
