Hologarde is probably now the most efficient solution for the airports and global airport security

Charles Telitsine, CEO of Hologarde, a member company of Groupe ADP, was key speaker and panellist of a conference dedicated to the detection of drones on and around airports, as part of the ACI Airport Exchange exhibition conferences program in Abu Dhabi.

He focused his presentation on the feedback of the recent contracts of Hologarde. Especially its implementation in the Charles de Gaulle area (1500 authorizations already processed) including the three Paris Airport platforms. One of the main lessons learnt is the issue of meeting the airport specificities with a combination of technologies. These technologies evolve quickly and the sensors quality and efficiency are central.

He also highlighted the necessary collaborative management system on UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) integrating flight plans and drones authorizations for the initiative to be successful.

He concluded with the mention of the new issue of future sky ports (vertiports and VTOL’s) for drones management. With – maybe - a first experiment during the Olympic Games in 2024.
