On Monday, January 14, 2019, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Sultanate of Oman, officially inaugurated the passenger terminal of the Duqm Regional Airport in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Al Zaabi, General Director of Civil Aviation and a delegation of ADP Ingénierie composed of Philippe Martinet, Deputy Director of BU CAMEEA, Stéphane Dauba, Director of our branch in Oman and Abdul Manaf, Project Manager.

The passenger terminal was opened to commercial traffic on September 17th and was therefore inaugurated on January 14, 2019. If the 4,000-meter-long runway had been inaugurated and operated using a temporary terminal in 2014, the new terminal with a capacity of 500 000 passengers per year, the new 37 m high control tower, the fire station, the cargo terminal and the auxiliary buildings were part of phase 3 of the site, completed last September.

Since the beginning of the project, project management assistance has been provided by our ADP Ingénierie team in Oman. Phase 3 studies were conducted by our teams in Dubai.
