Charles-Emmanuel Impallomeni, deputy to the head of the Infrastructures department of the Europe-Maghreb-West Africa & Americas BU took part in the 2018-2019 think tank on French industry led by the National Foundation Enterprise and Performance. A book published by Editions des Mines came out of this group: "Growing our industry: a human, cultural and territorial challenge".

Groupe ADP is one of the founding members of this think tank. The group is also one of the administrators and sponsors. Each year, each founder looks for an employee to follow the new annual cycle. Mr. François Vaquier, president of the working group, asked Gratien Maire who chose Charles-Emmanuel Impallomeni for this role.
Working meetings and visits to industrial sites, in France and abroad (Charles-Emmanuel could only be present for the mission in the United Kingdom), allowed the members of the group to reflect on three areas:

CULTURE. How is perceived the image of the industry in public opinion? The actions envisaged were to recommend:

  • Strengthening the presence of the industrial world in schools;
  • Teacher awareness of industry issues;

TRAINING. Actions envisaged:

  • Learning;
  • Corporate universities;
  • Accompanying employees in the industry throughout the career path;
  • The development of the training workers;

TERRITORIES. Observation: it is the right level to create a favorable place for industrial development. It is the crossroads of all the actors, with the department and the region. Recommended approach after review of comparable and effective actions in other countries.
The assessment of our industry drawn up by the working group is positive: "our industry is not dead in France," exclaims Charles-Emmanuel. "Especially compared to Germany and especially Britain, which suffer from aging parks".

The working group synthesized its findings, analysis and recommendations in a book presented on May 23rd 2019 to the press at the premises of the National School of Administration. Published by Editions des Mines, it is entitled: "Growing our industry; a human, cultural and territorial challenge".

This work is a new and beautiful example of entrepreneurship as promoted by our company. Its highly beneficial results, as much as the involvement of Charles-Emmanuel Impallomeni, reflect on the reputation of excellence carried out by ADP Ingénierie and all its talents. To be continued, in all areas!
